Frisco Travel Guide
Welcome to Frisco!
Located 26 mi (42 km) east of Vail and 85 mi (137 km) west of Denver, the town of Frisco is easily accessible from both cities via Interstate 70. Frisco is also less than one hour away from five premier Colorado ski areas—Arapahoe Basin, Breckenridge, Copper Mountain, Keystone and Loveland. Catering to the nearby ski industry, the town provides various accommodations and equipment rentals. Visitors interested in additional outdoor activities can take advantage of the numerous recreational activities provided by the more than 28 mi (46 km) of cross-country ski trails at the Peninsula Recreational Area and the paved trails of the Ten Mile Recreational Pathway. The 3,300-acre (1335-ha) Dillon Reservoir provides ideal conditions for such tourist attractions as fishing, whitewater rafting, kayaking and guided biking and boat tours. Frisco’s pioneering and mining past is preserved and displayed in 10 separate buildings at the Frisco Historic Park.
